SIXT ride Car Service San Jose

Horrible experience. We waited in line for nearly an hour to be greeted by a gentleman telling us we were late for our reservation and our car was given away. Yes, we were late due to the line out front and only one staff person at the counter. We were then hard pressed to buy insurance after we declined and pretty much informed we were stupid for not doing purchasing it from them. Long story short, we are done with SIXT.

This is A Rip Off! Stay away from these guys. Their Counter staff are trained to rip you. Prefer Avis, Enterprise, Dollar, Budget....any other US Rental Car company. Avoid this Trap. Our Tesla Broke Down and we had no choice but to get a Rental over the weekend and My Wife is a front line hospital Professional. We needed a Car for her to get to the hospital etc. Stunned by what they promised and what we got billed. Its Tesla who told us hurry and return that car to Sixt and go to Enterprise. Glad we surrendered the BMW-X3 after a day of use and we got slapped with a stunning billing and worse than that they keep a $500 deposit on the car and release the hold only after a Week. Its Bad Policy and these are crooks. I would never ever rent from Sixt. I must say they do have Good German Cars and these are well kept and in good condition. But Hey when you feel cheated even the good that you experience is hard to comment on and the negativity lingers. We have rented at different car rentals globally over 25 years. Never had such a rip off experience.

Rent me a ‘engine light’ problem car to me in the beginning and then try to rent me a door broken car to me afterwards! Worst company I’ve ever seen!

I didn’t get the car what I reserved at SFO branch. This company has so stupid geographic restriction!! I hit the deer in a nowhere. This big company couldn’t find a toll company for us and left my babies and my families in a nowhere from 11pm to 4am. I found a toll company within one hour. I made tons of phone calls with their different staffs. They gave me different answers and instructions. Interesting!! I wrote their email on July. They responded on 2nd, Sep. Please NEVER rent a car from this company for your happiness and your families safe‼️‼️
