Madina Market & Grill

This place recently took over for the arcade that was here prior and I've been meaning to try it and I am glad I did! This is a true family owned market and serve very good afghani food. I got the chicken tandoori plate and I saw them take out the marinated chicken right before my eyes and throw it on the grill. It was super juicy and tasty, and came with a nice side of rice, chutney, and chickpea side which were all really good. My only wish is that they have some type of seating inside so I can enjoy the food straight off the grill, because by the time I took it home and ate it, it was lukewarm. Highly recommend trying this place if you are near the area!

Gréât selection of foods and Somali staples! The halal meat selection is the best in the Bay Area.

Delicious. Had the chicken kebab. Super tender and great flavor. Portions are very generous, I had leftovers for the next day.

I stopped in Madina's market, on a whim, and I was blown away. The food was prepared fresh, came out hot and was absolutely delicious. I was blown away by the flavor, and will definitely be back. It is a hidden gem!

Wow! This is a great place to get a tasty meal! If you haven't tried , you should. Healthy fresh food cooked up in front of you!
