I went to see Dr. Sholer for a second opinion consultation about a week ago. He is extremely patient and kind. He explained in detail all the options I can consider in terms of my mouthful of teeth issues, answered all my questions and concerns... His assistant is nice too. Danielle at the front desk kindly prepared a PDF file with a detailed list of dental works that I need to do and price info in phases.Very professional and kind dental office overall. I moved out of state and still fly in to see Dr Sholer and Dr. Min for my dental work (almost 2 years after the move). I've been coming in for over 10 years and hated the dentist before becoming a patient here. The staff is amazing. They've always been above board with making sure insurance was billed and processing payments. The fact that I would rather get on a plane to fly out for a cleaning vs find someone in my home state should say something!

This dentist is very unscrupulous and unethical. His office didn't provide my son with a treatment plan and estimate of out-of-pocket expenses. Instead they just told him that he needs 13 fillings and just went ahead and scheduled appointment and happily filled right away without prioritizing and without providing options to delay treatment which is not required immediately. As he is a young adult he didn't realize that he could differ some fillings for a few months and take care of them in the next calendar year to reduce his out-of-pocket expense. They just front loaded all possible treatment. I had to help him pay for the treatment.I tried to explain them, but they refuse to listen and just want $$$.Stay away from the vultures!!!

I had gone too long between visits to a dentist. Jeff (and his team) removed tartar from a tooth that was causing swollen gums, examined a fracture in a tooth, and put on a temporary crown (for the fractured tooth). After 2 weeks of proof that my mouth situation had been fixed, Jeff and his team replaced the temporary crown with a permanent one - all the while taking extra care that the temp and perm crowns fit just right. Perfectly happy with the care I received. Would 100% recommend to anyone.

I came to Dr Sholer with x ray from previous doctor I visited same day. I wanted to hear his opinion regarding specific problem. Office billed insurance company for general exam. Insurance rejected bill. Now they say I owe them claimed amount. Check other reviews. You will have there unexpected out of pocket for sure!
