Capitol Dance Company

I've had a chance to see a 5 year old taking 2-3 classes a week here for the past few months, and it's been a very nice experience (for her). For me, I wish they had more comfortable chairs to sit on while the kids are dancing, and I wish the wifi was better.FYI this entire shopping center (Princeton Plaza Mall) has really bad cell service.The teachers here seem really nice, and they take COVID seriously by requiring masks. They also make sure the kids are well hydrated and supervised.The best thing so far was the production of The Lion King that was done. The kids spent weeks preparing, there were costumes, and it was really like a real production. Everyone had a great time and the kids were so proud of themselves.If you want your kid to have fun and maybe be on a path to being a serious dancer, I think this is a great place. They do have limited capacity and fill up, so you need to book early online.

My daughter is 4 years old. She went to the studio for one month. Today I was several minutes late for her pickup. I saw my daughter was outside of the studio. She was crying with two adults who was trying to help her. The teacher let all the kids out without seeing their parents even though shes only 4 years old! The teacher even didnt know that my daughter couldnt find her parents!Luckily she met the people who helped her and didnt go to the busy parking lot. The studio shouldnt let this happen today and should never let this happen again.

I've been dancing here for quite a while and I love all the teachers and other dancers! It is such a positive environment and I always feel very safe and welcome. I've learned at lot here. :-)
