This delivery service can typically handle deliveries between one Southern California city to another via its local drivers and it is one of the few delivery services that offers late night drop off. However, for San Diego shipments that are headed for other parts of the state they have them driven up to Burbank, CA for sorting. From there it is arbitrary hit and miss. If a flight is cancelled, they do not make a good faith effort to find an alternate means of delivery of overnight packages, they simply do not deliver the packages and wait until the next day that it is convenient for them to deliver the package. This company apparently thinks it can deliver packages LATE because they have a clause in very small print that they believe limits their liability to $25.00. The assumption of good faith effort is a component of all business contracts so they fail on this front. If you want to be sure of next day delivery you should go with USPS or FedEx.
