Teresa's Family Childcare & Preschool

I consider myself blessed to have found Teresa and her daycare for my son! I had toured many daycares prior and have to say they don't compare to Teresa's. This is a CLEAN space and a loving environment with a family feel. Not only is my son super happy to be there, he has also learned an incredible amount through play based learning. He absolutely loves Teresa, her assistant, and all the kids that attend the daycare as evidenced by all the hugs he shares with all of them as he comes and goes. Noteworthy to mention is that your child will get all the individual attention that they may require. My son needed a bit of extra help with his feeding for some time and they worked with him to make sure his intake was up to par and would keep a well documented log of all he had eaten. This place is a gem! Thank you Teresa!!

Teresa's Family Daycare makes the world go round!! She, and her assistant, are AMAZING. I honestly don't know what we would have done without her. She's energetic and keeps up with the kids easily and it's plain to see she just loves them all genuinely. She's great at keeping them engaged and learning as well as implementing good rules and boundaries that all kids should follow to grow into good people. We moved out of state and are so sad we don't have her any more, but we highly recommend her to anyone looking for trustworthy care for their children. For us, her daycare was the perfect mix of the home atmosphere and pre-school combined. Our 3 year old son spent a little over a year with her and he just knows so much as a result, from recognizing all his colors, shapes (simple and complex), numbers and some letters. He would constantly come home signing and counting and tell me about all the fun things they did that day. Truly, if you are looking for good, wholesome, trustworthy care, Teresa is where it's at. She's a fantastic mom herself, and treats your kids like her own, so you know they're getting great attention. (We miss you Teresa!!!)

Super friendly, flexible, easy going, responsible and educational. My son loves going to daycare in the morning and cries when its time to go home.

We were very fortunate, and consider ourselves lucky, to have placed our two boys under the care of Teresa Martinez (Teresa's Family Day Care). Before we found Teresa, we interviewed at least half a dozen different day care providers (large daycare centers, various in-home options, and even nannies), and none was as warm, caring, friendly, fun and actively involved with the children as was Teresa. She truly has a gift for working with children. While our boys were under her care, they learned sign language, table manners, numbers and colors, did crafts and art projects, ate healthy meals made with fresh, organic ingredients, and made good friends with the other kids their age. Her home is clean, comfortable and inviting for the children and she has a large, pleasant room dedicated to daycare that opens to a fun, spacious backyard. I think it is so great to have the children in a home environment. We have become good friends with Teresa and her husband Steve, even after our kids have "graduated" to preschool and truly appreciate and value the love and care they gave our kids. We highly recommend Teresa's Family Day Care.

Our son has been going to Teresa’s Family Daycare since he was 3 months old. When looking for day care, we considered a larger center, but felt that Teresa would be able to provide more personalized supervision tailored to our child’s needs. She has coordinated his care with us, from a diet of strictly breast milk, to weaning to formula and then to solids, through each stage of development, from crawling to walking to potty training. We love sending our son to a home away from home, which provides a cozy and loving family environment. He loves going there and loves Teresa! The small number of kids in her care results in a great deal of individual attention. We especially appreciate how clean and organized Teresa runs her business. The kids also get healthy home-cooked meals. Now that our son is turning 3 years old, we are transitioning him to preschool and he is adapting well. We recently welcomed a daughter to our family, and choosing a daycare provider this time around was a no brainer.
