I ABSOLUTELY LOVE my CUSTOM SOFA SECTIONAL made by Belmar. I am not a licensed designer but enjoy making my own home. I got so lucky when I finally found a TRUE QUALITY CUSTOM Furniture maker.  I had already chosen my fabric when I came to Belmar.  But, I wanted an 8-way hand tied down wrapped sofa sectional with bench seats.  What I am describing is virtually impossible to find, especially with the nails I wanted, machine washable cotton velvet in a variety of colors and to my exact measurements to perfectly fit my space.  As I said, I was so lucky to finally find Belmar.  They made the best sofa for me as you can see in the photo,  It is AMAZINGLY comfortable and beautiful.Throughout the process they were diligent about understanding what I wanted.  I was able to drive to San Francisco on a few occasions to check the frame, do a sit test, determine the correct pillow sizes and finally inspect the final product.  I live on the far side of Sacramento but it was worth the trip every time.And most importantly, it was worth the money to get exactly what I envisioned.Thank you Ilona, Robert, Marcus and team for handcrafting and custom building a fabulous sofa sectional for me. Belmar is amazing! I had an idea for a steampunk style couch and they made it a reality! I only gave them a few pics for inspiration and a scruffy drawing, Markus  helped me refine the design and figure out the appropriate dimensions and comfort specs, then they built it just like it fell straight out of my brain! I wanted a particular braided stitch and no other furniture maker in the Bay Area even wanted to attempt it. But Belmar was undaunted and it turned out beautifully. It's not cheap but it is high quality and it's a family business with a lot of expertise so I think it's fairly priced for what it is. Plus, they are very nice to work with, especially Robert (office manager) and Markus (owner/head designer). So happy that I found them!

I'm an interior designer and I have worked with Belmar for over 20 years on many design projects as well as custom furniture for my own home. They do beautiful custom work and whenever I have had an issue Marcus has been more than willing to work it out . I highly recommend this company.
