Burned by these hacks more than once so never going back. I think the owner just started doing this based on the quality of his work. Also terribly rude and unethical. Document what what you ask for and take pictures of the before so can point out how he made your shoes worse. Dont believe, go ahead and try these clowns.

Great shoe repair business. Extremely fast (had heels on my mens dress shoes replaced in 15 minutes), reliable, high quality work, friendly, and well priced. Definitely worth a visit

Finally - someone who is truly a cobbler! It's taken 6 years in SF to find Carlos, he was actually recommended by Jimmy Choo who told me there is no one else they suggest and now I know why. I take all of our shoes here and he's saved so many of my stilettos and husband loafers. He's encouraged me to be proactive and I take new shoes to get protective soles and he has 10X the life of my shoes. Not cheap but nor are good shoes. Best in the city.
