Highly reputable company with the highest level of experience and professionalism. It’s obvious that their guards love what they do and we love working with them whenever we can. They have met and exceeded all of needs.

This is an empty ghostship company. They don't have knowledgeable enough staff that is skilled or can protect you or your job with them. The 6 supervisors lack professionalism. One in particular lacks education. The office recruits women from another country to assist you and place you without even seeing you except your picture. They loose their contracts so fast that you have to be willing to stay on site, and go through the embarrassment of being removed while another company is present at your last day of work at that job site.

I have waited a long time to fill this out. I've worked 14+ plus years in security, I'm law enforcement trained (academy graduate) I've worked a wide range of security companies where I have been the top (Director of Security) to absolutely bottom. Bannerman started off great! App based company to be a independent contractor where you can truly shine with a good work ethic. Great! I do a good job, I'll have a good opportunity. I did a few sites including one that wanted to take me on full time if they could schedule me. I was at bannerman in 2016 - 2017 (I know I'm writing this years later and unsure if things have changed but this is something I can't let go). I was already working full time as a director of security but enjoyed the variety of assignments and liked working different sites on my days off. Now my issue: The problem with the app is your on a probation until working so many sites so in this time I was still in probationary period. A site in Richmond absolutely loved me but never rated me which this app favored heavily. I worked an assignment in San Francisco. The other issue is that if they can find a guard cheaper then they'll do anything they can to switch the guard to save money (understandable it is a business, right? So I can't be mad at that) but to book two guards and basically kick the guard with higher pay is a little unfair and happened twice to me. My incident: While working a site. While on my lunch (halfway through my assigned shift) I received a call from a dispatcher that a guard was at the site to relieve me. That couldn't be the case since I signed up for a full 8 hours and was 4 hours in, plus I wouldn't have taken a lunch. So I cut my break short and went to the site to find another guard waiting. I told him I was there for the full 8 and he showed me that on the app it had him for the 4 (and a lower rate than me). I called the dispatcher and she told me that I would still be paid if I decided to go home, so I did. The dispatcher told me that she would notify the client of the mix up and make sure it was done! The next day, my profile was taken off the app. Turns out I was given a 1 star (like the one star I'm giving Bannerman). I contacted Bannerman and they told me that since I "abandoned" the post I received a 1 star from the client (of which was supposed to be contacted by the dispatcher WHO PROMISED IT WOULD OF BEEN TAKEN CARE OF!) When I tried to dispute this I was told they would look into the matter. Never no word, never put back up on the app. DIDN'T DEFEND THEIR CONTRACTORS! Didn't matter much anyway, shortly after my mom lost her battle with Cancer and I moved from the Bay Area but the lack of follower through and lack of defending the contractors is a disgrace and hearing from clients how frustrated they were and defending the company that couldn't defend me, shame on them.

Bannerman used to be our go-to for security but I will not be using them again. I hired them for two events in mid - October and they only billed me for one. I followed up saying I thought I had an outstanding invoice on two different email threads and heard nothing. Then on December 27th I got an email saying payment was due. The accounts for the events that security had been hired for were settled by December and now my company has to go back and revisit numbers with our clients. Invoicing two months late is unacceptable even if I had not written asking about my outstanding invoice, and especially egregious considering I had tried to rectify the situation. Obviously I want everyone to get paid for hours worked but a two month turn around time on invoicing is unacceptable.
