Horrible service and the worst Chinese food I've ever eaten. Avoid at all costs. I chose poorly.

Good fried rice but the worst sweet and sour chicken. Not very clean.

This is what people in the backwoods of Texas would imagine Chinese food to be. Literally the worst Chinese food I have ever had. Microwaving frozen scallops at home with no flavor and save yourself a trip here.

Having eaten in hundreds of restaurants all over the world, this is the first time I've ever been compelled to run home from a dinner out with my family and write a review. This place used to be a pretty decent dim sum restaurant and I've eaten there many times with family and friends, but now (tonight, July 5th '14) it is terrible. I can overlook the inconvenient parking, the indifference of the staff, even the generally run-down and unclean conditions.. if the food was at least decent, but the food was so bad that I feel a sense of duty to warn anyone who's even considering eating here. DON"T! We started with three little plates of dim sum: pork steamed buns (bland, and too sweet, but Ok) Pork, shrimp, and peanut dumplings were inedible, fishy and rotten tasting, we quickly shoved this gelatinous mass aside. Pork Dumplings were actually not bad but one was filled with pure cartilage and no meat. We had also ordered the Guangzhou family dinner for three. We hoped things would improve with these common, high volume dishes, but no. Here's the run-down: egg-rolls; greasy and bland, but edible. Won ton soup was actually pretty good. But the Chicken and shrimp stir fry: it's not that the shrimp were unfresh, they were almost putrefied. The smell was way off, texture was mushy, and the taste was of fishy ammonia which I had to spit out and then warn everyone. Really gross. The Spare-ribs we're sickeningly sweet. no discernible flavor other than sugar. Also grisly and tough. My daughter gave up trying to cut it with the knife they provided. Beef w/oyster sauce: this didn't seem rotten, it was just bland and grisly. Pork fried rice (how can anyone mess this up) was very bland, but with a big dollop of soy sauce, was edible, but by that point we had no appetite left. the waiter came to the table and, noticing that almost nothing was eaten from any dish, asked if we were done.. "Yes" Do you want to-go boxes? "NO".. they brought a check for $70.00 and we got the hell out of there. Needless to say, we'll never return. my stomach is still churning and I fear for tomorrow. In fact I don't think I'll ever eat at any other place in Chinatown either. It'll be quite a while before I can eat Chinese food anywhere again.. No wonder the place was empty on a Saturday night. I should have taken note of that when we walked in, and walked right back out. So gross.
