Simple and clean place in the Tenderloin. We got seated right away on a Tuesday evening and service was quick, cordial and efficient. I ordered a pho with rare steak slices in it and I liked it. The broth was not fantastic but was good enough to satiate my pho craving. The rice noodles are large and tasty. Great place to go for a quick fix when you are in that area.

Decent pho. Nothing to write home about and nothing to complain about. Supposedly this place is known for their beef course so i'll have to come back for that. Being that this place is located in the heart of the tenderloin/vietnam town, if you're craving Pho, go to one of the places that specialize in Pho (Pho 2000 for beef, Turtle Tower for chicken). I'll definitely be back to try other dishes since the place gave off a very authentic vibe.

Pagolac is some of the best Vietnamese that I've found in SF. The beef seven ways is great, as are the make-your-own spring rolls, though I wish they would replace the veggies when you run out -- they'll often go before the meat or the wrappers do. But it's still a great experience grilling your own meat and putting a fresh, flavorful meal together.
