Blatantly lied on a denial letter for renting an apartment, my "Credit History" being the reason. I checked my credit immediately after I get the letter, and they are all 710, 810, and 753 on the one that they used. If that is poor credit history, I don't know what they are talking about. Reading these other reviews, I am glad I didn't get them as a landlord. I am disabled and that is most likely why they denied my application.

Update: Viktor Makras has since been convicted of bank fraud. Avoid this slum lord at all costs. They also paint over black mold and do other seriously shady and illegal things. Original review: Any positive review is clearly fake. Potential tenants stay away from this company they are miserable jerks and do not want to help tenants. We have homeless people in our buildings garage and Victor doesnt do anything. There is regularly drug paraphernalia all over and they dont care. Trash management. They are slumlords. Victorclean up the garage and stop being a jerk. Put the security camera back that you took away! This is just a passive aggressive tactic to push out tenants.

The comments dont lie if you ever find yourself renting an apartment from this establishment run far away. Anyway to make a buck they will do it. We rented our apartment for about a year in cole valley. We left the apartment in tip top shape compared to others that left out apartment complex. They had kept $700 dollars of our apartment due to damages and when I had asked them what damages (I emailed a person named Victor) he kept saying he would provide receipts. I asked for about of year and he dodged all of my requests. Shame on this business for taking advantage of people who already struggle living in an already expensive city.

I moved into an apartment in SF and started feeling sick (sinuses and headaches) after a week or so. I suspected mold from past experiences with symptoms like that, so did an at home mold test and it was positive. I contacted the agent and they responded quickly that they would send someone over to inspect. They sent over there generic maintenance guy who was unqualified for the task. He found nothing and did some cleaning on spots that were likely dirt and left a dehumidifier. I continued to feel sick and makras denied any issue so I spent a lot of money on a certified mold inspector who quickly identified the source of past water damage under the kitchen sink and found through testing a sample there was black mold. After all that and linger health effects they let me out of my lease finally. However, I never received an apology or even acknowledgement of the issue they merely said 'We understand that you are unhappy with the unit'.... I'm only giving two stars instead of one because they were quick to respond and did return my deposit without a fight. Also the maintenance guy was nice and prompt.
