I'm honestly surprised to see these reviews, as my experience with PT after my ACL surgery was great! I had a really dedicated therapist, Brynn. I am actually getting ready to start again after a rotator cuff surgery and I am hoping to get Brynn again. I found the whole experience really wonderful, from the staff to the scheduling to the treatment.

I cant believe these complaint reviews. I suffered a stroke, what is called a sub arachnoid hemorrhage, and spent 17 days in ICU at Davies. They had to go into my brain twice. As you can imagine I could barely walk or stand up straight following all of that. I worked with Sonja and I credit her with living an amazing life with very minimal deficit. She had to reteach me balance skills. Then I worked with Jeremy after a surgery on my peroneal tendon which is immediately under the ankle and runs across the underneath of the foot. In order to repair that they basically have to filet the foot from ankle to toe. Again my abilities on that foot are amazing and pain free. I have had recent sessions for lower back and shoulder which are also highly successful. I considered giving a bad review just to keep it from getting too busy, but the work they do is too important. I will never go anywhere else for PT. Thank you to all the staff I have worked with so many of you!!

Run don't walk to the competition: Dignity & UCSF.This clinic seeks to frustrate and stress out post-op patients. They do not comply with Physician RX, the scheduler informs that patients will see the same therapist (but at the very end of the session, the PT tells you s/he has no time and you get whoever is available, and no more than 1x/week is available (with whoever is available). This is not ethical. The supervisor Hal Fisk is less than helpful: waited a week later to hear back from him (after PT told me she would call me the next day) and then he sends an encrypted message that cannot be opened. All about making more money by filling in schedule gaps with whoever is available. This clinic does not have patient's interests in mind. Clear example of iatrogenic care (violation of Hippocratic oath: to do no harm). I have submitted complaints to Medicare and State Licensing Board.

I changed insurance providers just to escape this "physical therapy school". Now it looks like my best efforts where thwarted. Who could possibly compete on price with an army of paying students very lightly supervised. Proceed with extreme caution. Mostly not licensed and probably unfamiliar with your issues.

My mom is almost 90 years old and took a pretty bad fall. After two surgeries, we started PT at Davies Pacific Medical Center. It took forever to get an appointment. Once she started things went ok, however, every time we would schedule more appointments, we were given the run around. Both times, the time between continuing appointments was 4-5 weeks. This had my mother regressing to the point that it has affected her ability to gain back her walking normally. The people at the appointment desk were often rude and were uncaring. I complained to the head of customer service and it took a while for her to get answers as well. Would I recommend Davies PT to people. ABSOLUTELY NOT!! If I could have given them no stars I would have.
