CA - NY Express cross country movers SF

Was having a pleasant experience until time to book. My sales rep Elizabeth was responsive and answered all my questions, made sure I perfected my inventory and had a great attitude. Once time to confirm booking everything changed, I sent paperwork and asked to leave deposit to lick my date in then the problems started. Elizabeth can’t get anyone in the SF office to confirm my move, not sure if it’s true or not but that’s the answer given to me and now I’m scrambling to find a mover 18 days before my departure. Such a shame when a company has no respect for customers or being professional.

Moved from NYC to SF Bay Area during COVID (Jan 2021) and these guys did a fantastic job. Teams on both ends were professional, quick, and made the process easy. Quote process was a little daunting upfront (inventorying all items being moved) but their system made a lot of sense and ensured an accurate quote, as well as a complete inventory of our stuff. I would use this company again in a heartbeat and highly recommend them to anyone needing to move cross country. Services: Out-of-county removals, Packing/unpacking

Halfway through our move and the experience is not great so far. We booked our move 3 months in advance and discussed a morning moving window was vital with our sales rep. We get a call 2 days before moving day saying the window is getting pushed back 2 hours. Day of the move, the movers arrived 1.5 hours later than their eta call, and 1 hour later than the already pushed back window. When we expressed our disappointment in the tardiness the person that seems to be in charge had the audacity to tell us: “If the timeframe was so important, you could have moved boxes downstairs”. Are you kidding? We already moved 75% of boxes to our garage, and I’m paying you to move the boxes. Hopefully the experience with movers on the East coast is better. Then maybe I can give this 2 stars? If we move cross country again, not a looking good for us to use them a second time. Service: Out-of-county removals

I absolutely loved working with CA NY Express. Moving cross country is a daunting task, and we couldn't have picked a better company. HIGHLY recommend this company. First and foremost, Bob was incredible. He was so thorough in explaining everything and taught us some important tips about moving companies that we will keep in mind for future moves. The experience was completely transparent with pricing and what to expect. We felt like we could trust this company and we were in good hands.Thank you Bob for such an incredible job you did. The easy communication via email, the informational virtual tour, even the initial phone call to describe the services was top notch. We really appreciate the time and consideration you took to help make our stressful moving experience seamless. Both moving teams in NJ and CA were very professional and handled our items with care. They were on time, the packing was well done and they were fast and efficient. We also really appreciated the updates every 3 days as our items travelled across the country.This was the best moving experience we could have asked for. Both crews social distanced and wore masks.
