In earlier years, I was bad at communicating my needs, so I always came to the doc's and left feeling I was never helped. This included several nasal infections and food poisonings. However, nowadays, now that I went in after having done some research and gotten prepared to argue for what I'm looking for, the clinic's services have gotten a lot better. I never did have to argue with a physician, as they are extremely cooperative and I hold them in the highest regards, but any exploration into their mental health department should - politely speaking - start with an inquiry into your own insurance to figure out what is covered and then asking for that specific service. You can easily be bogged down into talk therapy without a concrete agenda. That's not always what you need. Perhaps you should seek a psych evaluation to see if you need talk therapy at all or what is the best path for you.It has always been the problem with mental health help that it's hard to observe for outcomes in the first place or they could shrug and say "It's the patient's fault" when you stray off of treatment plans. In-patient services or medication can have every variable or most variables controlled for and/or observed. Much of mental health, however, is out-patient and non-medication based and with an evasive insurance system to navigate.

Extremely horrible services, rude doctors and nurses. Always delay your appointment without letting you know. In-person appointments are usually delayed 30-1h. Phone call appt delay 12 days. If your obstetrician is Rena Hu, run! Shes extremely rude and impatient, sometimes will raise her voice at you. Also, when the nurse checks my temperature (in the ear), she does it very roughly that hurts my ear a lot!

Pharmacy opens right on time after their lunch breaks (12-1 on Saturday, not positive if they have a lunch break on weekdays) Pharmacist are efficient, kind and will explain meds to you thoroughly if need be. Thank you Nems Pharmacy!!

Rude, revengeful, and horrible attitude from the doctors and especially nurse. When they get my temperature, they put the thermometer into my ear very roughly and deep that hurts a lot. There's a doctor who is extremely rude as she will raise her voice at you with horrible attitude if she doesn't want to explain more. When I asked her to repeat one more time because I didn't catch what she said, she slammed the door and yelled for translator. I was left in the room for like 5-7 mins. They usually delay appointments 30-1h (in-person appt) and 1-2 days (phone call) without letting you know. But if you're late for 1 minute, the doctors will leave you for 1h wait. I seriously hope the services, at least the nurse, will be better.

This NEMS 1450 Noriega street has the worse customer services I ever had, first of all I'm not their member, I was there because I wanted to pay my father's bill. I finished see my doctor from cross the street other clinical office, so I walked cross the street got there was like @12:02pm on Saturday, when I got there I didn't see anyone working at the front desk and no patients waiting at the lobby, then I felt like so weird no people at all, but I heard doctors talking to patients in rooms, so I kept waiting in line waiting, waiting and waiting, then 3-4 minutes passed, a lady ( janitor maybe ) walked in front of me and emptying trash cans, she saw me and I saw her with eye contact, and she didn't say anything to me and kept doing her job. The other lady (nurse) walked out from the room, got her stuff and walked out the clinical, then a few minutes passed again, a doctor walked out the room while she was walking to patient, and the patient walked out the room and left. the doctor looked at me and didn't say anything and just typing on her laptop, and she looked at me again and kept typing. Then a few minutes passed again, a lady (nurse) walked out from the room and she saw me and didn't say anything to me, and then she walked back in the room again. Then another a few minutes passed again, other doctor walked out the patient and they both saw me and didn't say anything to me. I felt like so weird, why everyone saw me waiting in line was like I was invisible or ghost or something, so I kept waiting, waiting and waiting again. @12:20pm I couldn't hold myself that I was been waiting so long, 2 doctors, 2 nurses and a janitor, total 5 employees saw me waiting in line and they didn't say anything to me, I saw the same lady nurse again, so I opened my stupid mouth and asked her what was going on, that lady nurse saw me was like I was a weirdo asking her stupid questions, she walked back in the room and sticking out her head and say " is lunch time, we lack of people". I said loud why didn't tell me earlier, I had been waiting for almost 20 minutes. That nurse just stayed in the room and didn't answer my question again. I was so mad that why all 5 of them didn't tell me earlier when they first saw me waiting in line, I wasn't invisible, I wasn't a ghost, I wasn't a homeless smelling bad, or I didn't to anything wrong just waiting in line. I never have that so bad experiences in my life before, other clinical fertilities or hospitals would never be treated for someone who waiting in line for so long and say nothing, they really do their jobs well, they would say things like if I need help or say is lunch time come back later. But this NEMS is the worst clinical ever ever ever, telling me is lunch time and come back later is not going to kill them or something, no hurt feelings, right.? I was like a really a stupid been waiting so long until I opened my stupid mouth to asked. I'm not their member, how the heck I knew it was lunch time at noon, I just came out from other clinical office right cross the street, they were still working with patients during the same time as NEMS, why this NEMS customer services is so so bad. I'm glad that I wasn't their member at all. I can't post my review without giving them stars, I really didn't want to gave them 1 star to post it. Their customer services not deserve any stars.
