San Francisco Marriott Fisherman's Wharf

We reserved the night of April 5 online, but during our trip decided to also stay in SF on April 4. I thought calling the hotel would be an easy way to get this done, but the staff there told me to just go online and book another night myself. So I sat in the car in an uncertain part of town fumbling with the app to reserve another night. This isn't the kind of service I expect from Marriott. Also, beware they charge more to park a car than I paid to rent it. We enjoyed the hotel bar/restaurant, and the free sundae was nice. They gave us two tickets to ride the cable-car, which we really appreciated. Rooms: Upscale room, very comfy beds, central air, nice bathroom with good lighting, shower head & wand was fantastic, but had a shower-curtain (ugh). Decent towels. Plenty of USB and charging sockets. Walkability: Located pretty close to the cable-car turnaround and the Fisherman's Wharf. We walked to Pier 39 Food & drinks: The hotel bar / restaurant was better than expected. Free sundae was nice.

My second time at this hotel. Fantastic location with everything around fishermans wharf, trolleys, Lombard street etc. at walking distance.

Hotel is very well located, good service and very friendly employees. We had a tour to Muir Woods that was canceled due to bad weather and then to Yosemite with another travel company, which stops by bus near the hotel. Coincidentally, the hotel has very friendly workers for tourist information or hiring activities, etc. A good employee, Martin saved our trip at that time, he kindly assisted us and helped us with all our questions in SF and we booked a tour to go see Muir Woods, Sausalito, Silicon Valley etc. It was very good but they make 1 stops h around. It seems little to me. We were able to have a pleasant stay, the hotel is highly recommended. Thank you!
