Safety: Definitely felt safe in this location and was not afraid to walk back after having a late dinner.
Walkability: Able to walk to China Town, the financial district, the cable cars station, great restaurants and much more.

Hotel with very good quality-price ratio. A four star in Spain. Rooms according to their category (we stayed in a Deluxe) and the coffee (which is good) and the free water is a detail of the hotel that makes the stay there better. They also take care of cleanliness and the facilities are well maintained.
Rooms: Well preserved and well cleaned

Pros:
Location is really good. Close to everything: waterfront, trams, buses, salesforce park, etc.
Windows provide good sound proofing: not one sound was heard during the night.
Sun deck is nice, especially during sunset.
Cons:
We had 2 single-person beds. I know I picked it, but its really for one person - no space to sleep besides lay on back.
Hair drier didnt work and was so dirty, like it wasnt touched for years.

It was alright. Given the price per night, the room was a bit too small (especially for a couple carrying 4 suitcases around), and the cleanliness was a bit spotty (there was a frightening amount of dust behind the television). The bathroom was alright. My impression is firmly middle of the road. I'd come back if I had to, but there are probably better options around.
