JUMP Bikes

I'm ambivalent about the JUMP bikes. It's a great service, but the geographic limitations are very frustrating. How absurd that one cannot ride out to the beach on one of these bikes? Cannot go to Golden Gate Park or even anywhere in the southwest half of the city. Really takes something that has the potential to be awesome down a few significant notches. Increase coverage throughout the city and this would become a five star review. On a more minor note, put some bungees on the basket. A bag can get tossed out from a big bump and that's a great simple improvement to the utility of the bike.

The Locks , gears, and batteries have changed on the new bike. The most trouble I have is with the locks and the gears. Quite often I ad. I'm sure the next generation will improve though. Still, a great concept, and kudos to the team for all there hard work. I must say Jump was my introduction to electric bikes, so I have ordered a RADCITY electric bike and can't wait. Thank you!

The riding experience was great, however, I have been going back and forth on email with customer service for a refund and credit for a week. No credit yet and no refund. I prepaid for future rides on my account. When I rented the bike, I was charged twice for the same ride and the credit was never applied. Customer service emails apologize and say they have resolved the error, error has not been resolved.

Not recommended for biking the bridge theyll charge a fee $25 on top of the hours you used if parked outside of the zone. Probably good for work commuters in the city in SF!
