I've been to Dim Sum Club probably 5-6 times since it opened. It's taken over as my favorite dim sum joint. Everything is just really good, service is fast. Gets busy on lunch and weekends but we usually go early evening and get seated right away My favorites are the har gow (especially the one with pea shoots), steamed beef balls, radish cake, and stuffed tofu skins. The xiao long bao soup dumplings are actually my favorite in town now. It used to be Dumpling Time, but nope! Dim Sum Club is better. My only complaint is I hate their tea pots. I cannot for the life of me pour my tea without spilling a bunch on the table.

I just want to eat dim sum...but despite its name, Dim Sum Club doesn't want some of its customers in the club. Don't bother coming here if you're a smaller party. My husband and I have tried twice now to eat at Dim Sum Club, but they don't seem to want tables of two. The first time, we arrived early and put our names on a list. However, after waiting for about 45 minutes, we were supposedly at the top of the list. However, the restaurant was by then no longer working off the list -- they were seating larger groups of 4-5 now, even the ones that had arrived much later than we had. We asked the host about this, but he ignored us and then when another table opened up, seated another group of 5 that had come in afterwards. So we gave up.  The second time, the smaller tables were filled up, but there was still space at the larger ones. But the waitress just told us that they didn't have any tables for us, period. No mention of a wait time, anything. After the first time, we got the message: they didn't want us to eat there. This is actually my neighborhood dim sum restaurant, literally a five minute walk away, and normally I'd be so thrilled to support a local place. But this one doesn't seem to want my business, so I'm happy to take it elsewhere. The restaurant before this was much better managed as well. I'm just so disappointed in this restaurant.
