U-Haul Truck Share 24/7 At Steiner St & Hayes St

I read the reviews here and, despite how terrible they were, thought to myself ‘surely it can’t be THAT bad’. Needless to say, it was EXACTLY that bad. There’s a uhaul truck parked in the spot pictured, but there is NO lockbox or key available, and the mobile app does not work. You have to call U-Haul, which results in a 20 minute hold, followed by a conversation with a representative who cannot help you open the car since, as mentioned earlier, there is no lockbox or code. Altogether an abysmal experience, and it’s truly incredible that they still have this listed on their website.

DO NOT get your Uhaul from here. Order was confirmed, but when we clicked into ‘Pick Up Your Truck’ it opened to a page saying it’ll be available but nothing else. No next steps, no getting the keys, nothing. Was on hold for 30 minutes with customer service and ended up hanging up because it was getting late. Do yourself a favor and don’t rent from here.

Van wasn't there, another part of SF and two hours later still no van and rude service on the phone. Just go in and pick any other than potrero hill, Cindy Hernandez has the worst customer service ever.

The website check in was stuck in an endless loop and the app was buggy and unusable. No rental today.

It was a terrible experience. They do not explain the process and we were on hold for 20 minutes. Good idea, bad execution.
