They went bankrupt and their offices are closed. Does anybody know how to get in touch with them? I need to get my corporate books from [email protected]

I was going to Hicks for several years and had good service until they disappeared with my tax documents last year and never returned my calls. Another friend of mine that got burned by hicks told me to try Capital Business & Tax in pacific beach. They got me back on track and I was very happy with the service!

Mostly been coming here the last few months to get an idea of what everyone else was experiencing. I used Dennis for all of my corporate, and personal tax needs for close to 20 years, and was quite fond of him. Found out the news of his passing about 7 months after it happened, and within a month of tax prep, noticed all of the emails were bouncing back, and phones were off the hook. My guess is they were overwhelmed and Mr. Hicks must have been the real heart of the business that kept it going? Either way, I found a new tax partner and suggest the rest of you do the same. Never heard a word after submitting the requested documents, and its clear their infrastructure is no longer being paid for either (Phones/Emails, etc.) RIP Dennis.

Don't usually write reviews but this has truly been the worst experience I have ever had with any service/business in my life. It's been a huge headache since March. Submitted my documents, no one contacted me, called multiple times over the months, each time was told someone would contact me, wasn't until July that our taxes were filed but then when I had questions regarding our refund (which still hasn't arrived to this day btw), they fell off the face of the planet. The person that prepared my taxes stopped answering my calls/emails after they prepared my taxes and the business phone number is always busy. Now Im not really sure if my taxes were truly filed or not or when I will get my refund. Really disappointing service would not recommend to anyone.
