Pacific Surf School - San Diego

We did private lessons with Russel and Zach and had an amazing time! They did a great job adapting our lessons for our skill level and explained everything we needed to know. Highly recommend!

Russell is a great surf instructor who took really good care of me, my wife, and two teenage daughters on a recent trip to San Diego. He explained the fundamentals very clearly and answered all our questions. Then he worked is butt off in less than ideal low tide conditions to get us good waves to practice on and gave excellent feedback on every attempt. He really hustled to get us as many waves as possible and tired us all out by the time the lesson was over. I highly recommend Russell for family or group lessons. I also recommend checking the tides before booking your lesson, if your schedule allows, as the surf is ideal during a mid to high ebbing tide.

Alex was my 1-on-1 instructor . I was able to get up on the board and ride the first wave in ! He was excellent in his teaching style and showed me subtle movements to get me riding on several waves during my first session . Couldnt ask for a better experience. Hes the Messi of the day! Will request him again on my next session .
