I received a call this morning from the rep I spoke with from the very beginning. She was very nice and apologetic about not getting back to me. She even gave us the credit, which I was surprised about. I adjusted my review since she made the effort to make things right and apologize for the lack of communication.
Original review:
I called to ask if we could use the code we got from taking first place in our league before the pandemic and their transition from vavi to Volo. Thought it wouldnt hurt to ask. I talked to a representative who was nice and said theyd get back to me at the end of day. Never did. Called back the next day and the same rep said she would ask someone who would know and would call back end if the day. Never did. I called back the following Tuesday since Monday was a holiday and left a message no call back. We still signed our team up during the early bird sign up. But it would have been nice if someone could have just told me that we couldnt use the code. Instead of getting ghosted. Very unprofessional. I still have yet to hear anything back.

Sadly Volo/Vavi seems to be the only choice for a pay-to-play league organizer.

Prior to COVID I thought Vavi was a fair to good organization. Since then, theyve been atrocious.
Our friends signed up in a league and a few of us accidentally paid individually when we had already paid as a team and they wouldnt give refunds to our players, let alone answer any of my phone calls.
The league implemented a rule where only certain teams make the playoffs for the last week in a SOCIAL league - its not even competitive. The league was advertised as 6 weeks worth and in reality was 5 with MAYBE a 6th. And one of those weeks the other team didnt show.
Lastly, they typically give out restaurant/bar deals which were not given out (which I get due to COVID) and this was never communicated they werent doing that or a plan for the future. This is all while their prices have increased.
Will be out on any of their leagues or events going forward as I disliked their communication, value, and customer service.
