Scripps Ranch Swim and Racquet Club

I was a member with my parents growing up and came back as an adult for holiday break . Nothing has changed still obnoxiously rude desk clerks ( old Vons locations ) to the point we would fo at night to avoid the lady and then found the other with shorter hair even more rude. After talking to many members kids and young adults like myself go at night to avoid the older members who clearly, get annoyed by kids and younger crowd . A man who works there in the evening ( short latin employee) when I was practicing yoga came up to me and said, Hurry up Blondie were closing I was speechless ! I cant believe the way this place is run. NO WAY WORTH THE MONEY. They better get it together, UPDATE THEIR EMPLOYEES AND FACILITY ! go to Fitness Quest 10 and join Lifetime in LaJolla or Poway pool this place is a nightmare. ( My parents have lived in SR 38 years and stopped going because everyone was rude kept the membership for us kids. CANCELING if they havent already- they dont even greet you with a smile let alone a nice Hello - bad vibe. AVOID !

STAY AWAY!! I signed both of my kids up for the non-competitive swim team and it has been a horrendous experience from day 1. The instructor Kristen is impatient and short tempered. She should never teach swim to ANY child. There is absolutely no instructor half of the time and the people that do arrive seem to be busy on their cell phones. This is a safety hazard and this facility should NOT be conducting any type of swim lessons. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. YOUR KIDS MAY DROWN. NO TRAINED PERSONNEL.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. I have two children that are enrolled in the non-competitive swim team and the experience has been horrendous. The instructor for children is Kristen. She is short tempered and does not pay attention to your child. This swim team is nothing more than free swim with an instructor that has no ability to give any child proper instructions. This facility should be reported. It is not safe and definitely should not be labeled as any type of swim team. STAY AWAY!!

If you live in Scripps Ranch, you need to visit the Swim and Racquet Club! They have mini golf, pools, hot tubs, workout classes, swim classes, summer camps for kids, adult swim time, and more! Great place for kids and adults. The staff are friendly and it really feels like a community.
