This is happening at one of their properties in Arizona and they don't seem to care. It saddens my to write this as I wished SALT would have been so much more. I've been living here for the past 3 months and it has not been sunshine and rainbows. My first turn off was on the tour I was told my the assistant manager Desi that there would be some kind of contraption to help move my bed up the spiral stair case as I am in a loft style. Come move in day, no contraption, just an oops and some very upset movers. Once everything was moved in, I noticed my plugs in the kitchen and bathroom did not work. I put in a work order, they "fixed" it and left. The plugs were not fixed and I again told Desi in person of this and that she would also have it looked at again. At that same time I told her that the cox installer had put a hole in the door from the hinge being attached without a brace. 4 weeks go by and still not fixed. I finally reached out to property manager John and they were fixed within a few days. Secondly, the lack of guest parking in absolutely ridiculous. I have never lived somewhere the guests have to pay to visit. They have 3 spots in the front that are only available from 7pm-8am. The parking garage next door allows 2 hours free and then payment after. I have had friends get stuck in the garage because they don't have their debit card on them or own a card at all. When I complained to management, they said we told you in the tour, lie, and that they are working on it. 3 months in and my guests still don't want to come and pay. I was supposed to have a pool party on my birthday but when guests found out they had to pay, they weren't excited about coming and no one did. So I can't enjoy my friends company unless they come late at night, early in the morning, or want to pay. Thirdly, and probably most important, I no longer feel safe on the property. The maintenance supervisor lives on site and thing for being creepy and trying to show his power. He has stopped, yelled, not raised his voice, but screamed at 2 of my guests for walking on the property when I am within 100ft. Late at night when I use the hot tub or pool, I have found him several times staring at me and made me feel super uncomfortable. The scariest part, he has entered my unit TWICE unannounced while I have been home and have no idea how many times he has done it while I was not there. He said oops wrong unit both times. HOW DOES THAT HAPPEN?!?? I now no longer use the amenities and walk freely in fear. When confronting management and giving them the details they still have not done anything about it. I have even contacted the management company, Oliver McMillan, nothing. Instead I'm asked, well what do you want us to do about it? Are you kidding me? I am a 22 year old living alone and do not feel safe in my own home. DO NOT MOVE IN HERE! I wish I would have known that the management would not have been helpful in a dire situation. Feel free to ask me any questions and I will tell you the truth. For a new complex wanting to gain business, this is sure not the way.
