Patricia Lazalde, PhD -Psychologist

After my cancer surgery, my oncologist recommended that I seek the counseling services of Dr. Patricia Lazalde as she had proven track record in helping people undergoing cancer treatment. I was hesitant at first because I never had any experience with a mental health therapist. I made an appointment with Dr. Lazalde, and I brought my husband with me for support. During my first session, Dr Lazalde was able to put me at ease, her calm demeanor and professionalism allowed me to fully confide to her of my fears of having cancer and what if I do not survive treatment. Through her focused therapy and my cancer treatment, I was successful in conquering my fears, and I was able to beat cancer. I am now seven years cancer free. She not only helps me survive my fears and anxiety but have instructed me how to calm myself and what I need to do to keep my mind busy. Also, she helped my husband and I understand how to live together patiently now that both of us are retired and spent most of our time together. I would strongly recommend new patients to see Dr. Patricia Lazalde for a good therapy session. She is an excellent Therapist.

Dr L has effectively saved my family. I have been struggling for years and recently things have been falling apart with me and my teenagers. Dr L is extremely insightful. She really seemed to get me and get our situation immediately. I feel very strongly that without her help and support we would not be where we are today. In just a few weeks my family has turned around. I am doing individual counseling with her in addition to the family counseling with my kids. I had tried many other therapists with absolutely zero success until the day we met Dr L. She is absolutely incredible! I am so grateful for her!

Children were brought to her by 1 parent but the other parent had no knowledge even though both parties share joint legal custody and the parent that had no knowledge has primary physical custody. Doesn't seem right a doctor wouldn't check with both parents before speaking to minors.

I've been thrilled with Dr Lazalde. She's been wonderful. She's friendly, professional, and very accommodating. Couldn't really ask for more. Choosing someone to help with mental health is very personal, but I can honestly say I've been very lucky to have found her. She's helped a lot.
