She is absolutely the most inept person I've ever delt with. She will deliberately make up your evaluation. Her mind is made up before she starts. Stay as far away as possible from Dr. Jaffe. She obviously doesn't remember the oath she took as a doctor if she is even a real doctor. The most inaccurate assessment one could get. I have other doctors and pharmacists who refute her findings. Hopefully everyone who has an assessment evaluation will write their reviews.

If I could give a negative review I would. Like other reviewers said, “don’t trust this woman.” Her evaluations are extremely biased and one sided. Her evaluations are not based on facts. They are written to help whatever attorney she has a quid pro quo relationship with. The first thing she asked me was, who was the judge and who’s the attorney. She didn’t ask about any dates just explained she was extremely busy for the next 5 months after I told her who the people were but she still wanted a quick rundown when she said it wouldn’t be possible. After I got off the phone I got a weird feeling. A week before we changed evaluators she called and said she could do it, even though she was beyond busy and had no chance of doing an evaluation, but needed to paid immediately and not like the court ordered. My ex was supposed to pay half which I still haven’t received. I barely spoke with this charlatan and took a couple of tests online which she claimed I was deceitful yet wouldn’t tell me why or which questions I was supposedly not telling the truth. Her evaluation took almost 5 months because of all the nonsense she had me do. At the start of the evaluation she said she would need certain items and these were not on there. This includes getting a CURES report going back 7 years which is highly unorthodox. I had to contact the Department of Justice to receive the documents which took several months to obtain when she claimed at the 11th hour it would take 24-48 hours and before that said my doctors could easily get the report going back 7 years which is false and if you don’t know the basics like how far a cures report goes back you don’t know squat. Everything she asked me to do at the 11th hour when the report was due was not in the original scope of work. She was literally trying to find things so she could write a bad report. She lacked simple understanding of a lot of the reports and completely misinterpreted them. Her so called process goes against logic. Her final report made zero sense and had multiple misrepresentations and added things we never even talked about. Her report which took 5 months to complete was template based and the furthest thing from accurate. She would go out of her way to make me look bad where she could even if it wasn’t true or a half truths twisted. I took a substance abuse Evaluation before hers but opposing side said it wasn’t comprehensive enough because it came back favorable. Let me tell you it was much more comprehensive than her report. Whatever you do stay as far away from this woman as possible unless your attorney has a relationship with her. She’s after money not accurate assessments. After the report I asked her to explain her findings which were contradicted by other doctors and pharmacists and multiple tests. She left out any and all positive parts to help the other side. Luckily I had enough evidence to show her biased, misleading and outright false comments. Be very careful when dealing with people who abuse their power. Again even though her attempts to defame me didn’t work I will advocate for others so they won’t have to deal with abuse of power. Doctors take an oath and shall adhere to the oath at all times. This woman makes up her own rules and findings. It’s sad to think about how many others have been ruined including children of mothers and fathers who went through the ringer with this person. There is so much I could write but will keep my review the way it is for now because this should be enough to get my point across. So If you are reading this then make smart choices and know reviews are not just written by disgruntled people but by people who want to improve the system and keep people and businesses accountable. Remember you have rights. Don’t be a victim.

Since this is such a serious matter I feel it's my responsibility to keep this review up to date. Since my last review I followed recommendations from other doctors and trusted advisors who told me what I already knew I had to do. I filed a complaint with California board of psychology to let them know what type of person this charlatan is doing harm to the community and making things worse for families and children for monetary gain. If you find yourself in a similar situation please hold the person accountable if they are abusing their power. Don't be afraid to go to the proper authorities and turn whom ever is in violation. Since this monkey business began my daughter has prospered at school and continues to thrive with her father and mother 50/50. Something this lady tried to take away from my daughter so she could get financial gain. Amazing the lies told by Carrie Jaffe and only to see how incredible wrong and deceptive she was. One day my daughter will learn who almost had her removed from her dad via lies and inaccurate assessments. Good luck to anyone going through this with corruption based assessments.

Stay as far from this lady as you can! She is unreliable, forgetful, and extremely manipulative.   If she doesn't cover something with you, she will add her own "information" to boast the appearance of her doing her job.  She sent me to an intensive outpatient program over MARIJUANA,  prevented me from timely getting to a custody litigation because of her inadequacy and slow process, claimed that i told her i took a severy high dose of medicine for depression i never even heard of, then forgot that I dont suffer from depression and tried to add that i did, and that i told her that i did. I told her i was depressed for a year close to 20 yrs ago, because i disliked my job.  She twisted it, and claimed that i see a psychotherapist who prescribed me 1200mg of depression medication.  Meanwhile, i dont really know the difference between psychiatrist and a psychotherapist, but my psychiatrist retired a few years prior. She insisted that i give her his contact info, and that she would need to get his opinion. Never bothered, and told the court i had a psychotherapist now, but since this was a make belief person, she of course didn't speak with that doctor either.  Also, she made demeaning and inappropriate comments about my appearance, but then had to admit that she didn't even fully remember how i appeared.  Dont trust this lady, dont trust her method, and if a judge suggests that you get evaluated by her, insist that you get a different evaluator. If you absolutely must see her, demand that she lets you record the session. If you dont record it, she will screw you like she did me.   I brought my own expert and he discredited her entirely.  Do that too, if possible.   Also, give her yes or no answers as much as possible,  so she can't later claim that you said something or meant something you didn't.  She had the nerve to tell the court that i smoked marijuana because i "didn't have a mother" lol then testified that my mother and father got divorced at 16 and i went to live with her. This lady has some sort of personal agenda i wdnt claim i know what it is, but its not to help you.  She will lie to boost her determinations in a heartbeat, just to have her moment in the spotlught.  She told the court that her report came out in august of 2019, she forgot to mention it was august 31st. She will do everything to make herself seem knowledgeable but the truth is, at least in my case, she literally didn't know what day it was when she sent me a confirmation for the wrong day....
