Menas HOA Management

This company acquired our prior HOA management company. We went from a well run community to a disaster. They tried to jack up our fees while delivering terrible service so we selected a different HOA management company. They threw away all of our history - no paperwork - no checks etc. Ahmed refused to respond to any phone calls and his staff refused to transfer our reserve funds of over $200k. We had to work directly with the bank to get our money back. Stay away - they are bad news. I spoke to several vendors since, like tree trimmers etc. and they will no longer work with HOA's under Menas management because they can't get paid

Our HOA recently swapped to Menas and I just have to ask, how is this company still in business? Really, if someone can explain how this place still exist I would love to hear about it because it's fascinating. They're slow to respond through the dedicated web system for communication, I don't think I've ever been able to reach someone by phone, and forget about emailing the property manager directly, he doesn't reply to those. My latest interaction with them was asking for a spare key to the community pool. I was told I can drive to the office and pick one up. Great, I respond I will head out later in the afternoon. I drive 40 minutes to show up to an empty office that's being renovated. How do you not mention that when encouraging someone to waste 1.5 hours in trafic?

I don't understand the point of an HOA if nothing is ever done in favor of the community. Not to mention that the 'CEO' of Menas straight up told me that I could move out if I wasn't content with the HOA or the community. Treating me as if I wasn't a homeowner and part of the HOA. Will never use them again, and unfortunately can't recommend. They will send pictures of HOA Violations but will take months to fix something or clean our front doors. Trash. Edit: Julie, just replied below: Not once did I say I "couldn't follow the rules and regulations". But thank you for making it clear that I should not be living in the House that I worked very hard to buy. That's very inappropriate for you to say to a homeowner as the acting CEO. I hope you can see how disheartening your reply is.

Hoa homeowners are not attend there meetings only two there are a la Potoloa Board Assocation they dont live in san diego only two But these people don't But these people don't participate people on zoom I saw maybe they will not let homeowners attend meeting I dont know but this building is profit income based please people have give up fight you have a right Dont a Evil should participate if they own a condoThere should be aParticipation mean but they canceled meetings all Participation meeting but they canceled meetings all thelp he time. They are unresponsive, I'm not sure exactly what I'm paying for since they never respond to my phone calls, emails, or requests. Samira Sheriff in particular is the "manager" who is unresponsive.
