This location for the Kahoots Pet Store branch is the BEST I have ever been to in San Diego. The employees are always SO friendly, GENUINE, knowledgeable and the list goes on. Primarly, this review is for Erica/Erika (spelling?) - the manager. =) Every time I walk into the store and she is there, she always is so welcoming to me and everyone. I specifically had a question about raw dog food and she was so knowledgeable on it. She also offered me a variety of selections they have here at the store. Also when my dog is not feeling well and had an upset stomach, she recommended the pumpkin purée to me and also one in powder form I believe. They 95% of the time have everything I am looking for in stock except for the Turkey jerky but I called all Kahoots pet stores basically in San Diego and they were all out including this one but that's OK - I don't believe it was the store's fault. And, from time to time, they offer teeth cleanings for animals, specifically dogs! I haven't taken my dog yet for it because she hasn't needed it since I brush almost daily but if that's what you're looking for they have this option here. It's very easy to find parking and very easy to locate the store. They hire the best staff here and overall their service is amazing. Also, Erica is a HUGE reason I love coming here - she truly is special and so sweet and passionate about her job and overall is a great person! Cheers!

I used to go to Petco for my dog's needs, but came across this store when I was visiting a nearby store, and I'm so glad I did. Everyone who works in the store is so helpful and kind. The store is always very clean and well organized. I have started coming here often for my dog's food and needs. The store may be small, but they always have exactly what I need. My dog has gone potty in here twice, and while I was completely mortified, they were so kind and understanding. The prices on some things are more expensive than Petco or other pet stores, but it's totally worth it because the service and store overall are just so much better. I think of this as a fancy boutique pet store and just love it!
