I have been working with Pedro for several months. This has been by far the best personal training experience I have had. Pedro has a genuine interest in my health and success through his program. The workouts he assigns for me are tailored for my development, but also factor in certain limitations I have, such as high blood pressure, pain or soreness in certain areas, and other physical limitations. Pedro will work with you at a pace that he feels is right based on your needs and abilities. He will only push you when he thinks you're ready, not because he thinks you need to suck it up and be tough.
I like the set up Pedro has. I really like the small setting of a garage gym. I feel the environment is safe, comfortable and perfectly designed for one on one training.
One of the things I appreciate the most is his encouragement with food and nutrition. I can tell it is something he is really passionate about. I think Pedro promotes more activity while still being able to eat things you like. But for people like me who need a lot of help with weight and overall health, he preaches that I am not in a situation where I can eat whatever I want. So I like that Pedro takes the position that each individual situation should dictate food choices. I am a very stubborn eater and my eating habits hinder my health. But Pedro is a great resource for education about good/bad food choices, as well as a source of encouragement. For someone who is very stubborn about food, I need his encouragement and knowledge.
I have really enjoyed working with Pedro for the past few months and I will continue to work with him in the future. I highly recommend that you reach out to him if you are interested in working with a personal trainer.
