This refi was the easiest and quickest I have ever done. John Smyth was professional, friendly, answered all my questions and answered his phone. We would strongly suggest using First California Funding and will certainly use them again in the future.

I reached out to the President, John Smyth, to refinance my VA loan and he was initially very helpful. He sent me the forms to fill out in order to rate lock, and asked that i get them back to him that evening (which i did). Fast forward one month and he has not answered any of my emails or calls. I have been polite and professional in all my correspondence and wish he could return the same professional courtesy to me. I am baffled, not even a word of response.

This company uses robo calls to relentlessly call from unknown blocked numbers. They leave a message to call their representative, but do not leave the correct NMLS number, violating do not call list legal requirements. If they call you, join the masses filling claims against them, and save the voice mail messages because each violation carries a $10,000 penalty. Soon, I'll pay off my mortgage using penalties this company is accruing by allowing auto dialers to call me all hours of the day, or night.
