Besides the receptionist and medical assistant, the staff, doctor included, are not very child friendly. The ultrasound tech & ekg tech seemed annoyed that my 3 year old didnt want to sit for over an hour during these different tests.
The doctor hardly interacted with my son, and literally ran out of the room when he had an accident. She didnt come back in or even finish her sentence before leaving as quickly as possible.

Dr. Molkara and her team is extraordinary.  Our daughter has a very complex, rare genetic disorder and many medical professionals just gave up. Dr. Molkara never gave up on our little girl and saved her life! We will forever be grateful for her intelligence, kindness, dedication to patient care, and her ability to convey terrible information in a way that can be received and acted upon. Dr. Molkara is the best cardiologist, and her compassion and due diligence is simply unmatched. We also love her office, her office staff, and her team. They are very kind to our little girl who can be quite a spicy pepper. We feel truly loved and supported by this clinic.  She has also provided excellent care for our two sons.  It's never great to need a cardiologist, but if you do... this is the ONLY place to go in San Diego.  We have a team of about 20+ doctors and Dr. Molkara is our hero.  If every doctor could adopt her manner, and ability to explain complex things in a simple way, and her sincere approach then healthcare would be forever changed. Thank you, Pediatric Cardiology of San Diego. We appreciate you.

Besides the receptionist and medical assistant who took my sons vitals I don't think any of the staff members, including doctor, want to work with small children (toddlers).The ultrasound tech didn't interact with my son at all, just told him to keep still (he's 3) and that it would be over shortly. It lasted 50 minutes. The tech kept repeating he was almost done since he started and was getting annoyed my son didn't want to sit still. It's normal for toddlers to move and not sit for long periods of time. No comforting words from the tech as my son was starting to cry because he wanted to move. After that finally ended the ekg tech came in and was seemingly annoyed that my son didn't want to sit any longer. Finally the doctor who never even introduced herself came in. No introductions and got right to the point. My son ended up having an accident in the office while the doctor was talking and she literally ran out of the room. No goodbyes, nothing. She is a pediatric doctor, how can she be so afraid of a child having accidents? It was just rude. The only reason this office gets two stars is because the receptionist and medical assistant were nice. They deserve better coworkers and a better boss.
