Life Purpose Institute

I took this Health and Wellness course because I was seeking relevant information about the topic. I wanted to learn about the latest diet and life change for well being. I really enjoyed the hands on, experiential learning. The instructor is super nice and knowledgeable. I liked how she modeled a coaching session. Also I liked that I could practice and discuss with my peers and I could coach them to find what works for them.

As a graduate of the program, I will say that the training is exactly what you need. I feel as though I finished with a great amount of knowledge and skill base to send me off to start my practice!

Life purpose institute claims to be open to all spiritual paths and backgrounds but Director Fern Gorin made it abundantly clear she was declining my admittance on spiritual grounds. Unless you practice monotheistic judeo-christian form of spirituality be prepared to have a hard conversation with Fern. I had been honest with the staff since my first communication about being an eclectic practicing witch. My encounters with other staff members at the school were pleasant and accepting. It wasn't until I encountered Fern that the trouble started. She asked our reasons and experiences for wanting to be a spiritual life coach and I stated I was a practicing witch. I was then asked if I "only did white magic though? Right?" She then took over my admissions case. In a subsequent phone call she asked me to explain basic concepts of a magickal practice, told me I made other prospective students uncomfortable ( I suspect she's projecting her own discomfort) , suggested I lie about or hide my spiritual practice in the future, and said she'd have to consult with the other instructors to even see if a witch was a good fit. She has outdated, and frankly bigoted ideas about what a spiritual practice should look like and what witches are. TL;DR Avoid having to talk to Fern if you're a witch, polytheist, pagan, or any combination of the latter. She will deny your admission and tell you she's not discriminating, but just asking you to keep your spiritual beliefs a secret.

My experience attending the Life Purpose Institute was great! I looked forward to each class. I learned so much and even formed good relationships throughout the class sessions. I was able to help my practice clients using some of the coaching techniques. Our instructor Juliette is a fantastic instructor. The course materials are well organized and easy to follow. I printed everything out created two binders. I highly recommend LPI for your Life Coaching certification!

I have loved everything about this journey with the Life Purpose Institute. I have been well prepared and am well supported even now as I continue my own purpose path. I look forward to continuing my education in health and wellness and relationship coaching! Thank you Sharon Good and everyone at the Life Purpose Institute for this incredibly enriching experience.
