We hired Shayna to help us re-design our backyard. Our yard is not very big, and the previous owners only partially landscaped it. It needed to be updated, and we wanted someone to help us design and use all the space we had. My husband and I are not very creative so Shayna was excellent and a huge help! Her design was beautiful and she was very thoughtful in making sure all of our requests for specifics were met. We would definitely recommend her! We considered several landscape designers before deciding on Shayna of Visionary Design Services. We chose Shayna because we were impressed with her project designs on her website. She listened carefully to our ideas and priorities and was able to include all of them in the preliminary drawing. The final drawing only needed minor revisions. Shayna welcomes any questions, comments, and design changes during the design process. It is easy to contact her by email or phone and she responds within a reasonable amount of time. The 3D package is amazing. It feels like you are actually walking through the landscape design. It helps in the design process because you are able to visualize things that you would not in 2D. It was a pleasure working with Shayna. We are very pleased with her design and look forward to having it installed soon. Service: Custom landscape design

We had a very basic idea of how we wanted to redesign our backyard but not sure how to put it all together and after 1 meeting, Shayna was able to translate our vision into a reality without us needing to give a ton of extra details. She created a beautiful design that provided all the details that were needed to obtain HOA approval, and even has really cool 3D options where you can see your design as if its a video walk through, very cool. Im the type of person that really needs something to react to in order to fully visualize what Im looking at rather than just a 2D overhead design, so this option was super helpful in narrowing down what we liked and didnt like. On top of all that, Shayna is is very organized and professional. She provides very thorough and timely communications and I really appreciated her process. Shayna met with me early this year to scope the details of my upcoming landscape design.  She is very experienced with designing from a blank canvas and provided a nice video and printouts with measurements for my HOA.  However, she is not experienced with providing quotes in lieu of the actual contractor executing the design.  Shayna's quote was $17k above my budget (e.g., the funds I had allocated for my project). Hence when I asked her about the incorrect quote, she was defensive, but after several discussions, she admitted to her mistake, and we moved forward.  Moreover, Shanya updated the quote, but it was still $7k above my budget, so I decided to proceed with purchasing her 3D design.  Be aware and make sure you have a contractor provide the quotes so you do not find yourself in an uncomfortable situation with Shayna being upset with you because you have questioned her error.  Other than that, she is great with creating designs but not providing quotes.
