I have been with Paychex for over 20 years and they just dont seem to care about small businesses. I have 5 employees and they consistently miss pay periods, to the point they even lied about the courier delivering checks, their system says they were delivered but in fact they were 2 days late! Paychex doesnt care about small businesses. I have been abused long enough!

Beware of signing up with Paychex, especially when it comes to HR, Benefits, or Retirement Services. They're fees never stop increasing and their cancelation fees are undisclosed and astronomical, but the fine print let's them charge whatever they want. You will NOT get your money's worth from this company. These 5 star reviews are drastically overstated. Look at every other consumer website about them. They send out wonderful press releases during Covid-19, but when a business owner is struggling to keep employees but needs to cut back in some benefit programs, Paychex is there to charge you $1,500 if you want to make changes.
