    I had a unique opportunity to observe the care Aaron Homecare's leadership and staff provided for a close family friend during her declining years and end of life. I was consistently impressed with the professionalism of the staff, and the outstanding care provided. My visits were frequently unannounced, and I found my friend to always be immaculately clean, comfortable, and attentively cared for. During over 2 years of immobility, she never experienced a skinbreakdown or "bedsore" - a risk for anyone with limited mobility. I found Aaron Laney, the company administrator, to be accessable to the family, regularly observing staff in the home, and always willing to address any questions I or family members might have regarding my friend's care. He is knowledgable and compassionate. Based on my positive experiences and observations, I have been able to recommend Aaron Homecare to others.

    We highly recommend Aaron Home Care. From our very first meeting, we felt that Aaron Laney was special. He was professional, compassionate, and friendly. My father was very independent until a fall and so we had no experience with home care. He guided us through many challenges along the way with his expertise and sensitivity. The caregivers that he provided were varied as far as experience and compatibility. He worked closely with us to get the best match for my father. We used his company for almost two years and were extremely happy with his organization. My father ended up needing more care than could be provided in his home so we moved him to assisted living. We still miss the care and attention that we got from Aaron. Thank you!

    When my family first met Aaron in person he was and is very compassionate about his business that's why we picked his company to begin with. Unfortunately my experience with Aaron Home Care went downhill from there. My dad was in hospice care days away from dying and one of their caregivers when taking care of him banged his head up against the bars on the hospital bed and if that wasn't bad enough she missed my dads medicine hours. I was also told they could give the medicine to the patient but couldn't fill them but then soon after was told they wouldn't be able to. Wish I would have known that up front because I'd gone with another company who could have performed that duty.

    I was lucky enough to have the help of Aaron Home Care for two of the three years I lived in San Diego. I am 47, with a degenerative brain disorder that severely affects my motor skills, among other things. I researched several local home care providers and found that many were super corporate, charging exorbitant assessment fees, with many representatives, but few actual quality providers on staff. These companies were happy to collect my money, but did not value me as a client (more than three weeks after billing me, one company could not even find care providers to send to me). My physical therapist recommended Aaron HC, as he said he had a few clients that seemed content with AaronHC. I quickly realized AaronHC was different than the other companies; it seemed to actually care about its clients. There was a personal touch. Aaron Laney himself came to my home for a free assessment. I signed up. I was soon connected to a care professional manager, Amelia, with whom I had an hour long interview where my needs and desires were communicated and heard. I requested and was given two separate care professionals (one for Monday, a different for Thursday). Each care professional wore a mask and removed their shoes in my home- important to germ freak me- was caring, helpful, efficient, reliable, trustworthy, kind and open to satisfying my care needs. Jocelyn helped me run errands, did food prep, did light housekeeping, drove me to appointments, brought me to fun places, and took me to watch the sunset- she was my cool, young friend. Gloria cooked meals, took me to appointments, did light housekeeping, took me and my dog to the beach or park, taught me about plants and told great stories- she was like my auntie. I grew close to both of them. Jocelyn and Gloria were very professional, reliable and punctual. Aaron himself checked in with me regularly, as did Amelia also. I felt genuinely cared for and heard. I never felt like just a money source. I would, have, and will continue to recommend AaronHC to anyone elderly, disabled, or recovering from surgery or illness. I feel genuine gratitude to Aaron, Jocelyn, Gloria, and Amelia for making my life easier with their help and kindness. -Jess M.

Regarding the administration of medication, I apologize again for any confusion or inconvenience caused. We discussed the state regulations that apply to all home care agencies with your family after the first night, and I apologize if there was any misunderstanding or lack of clarity on our part. I’m sorry we didn’t get it right the first night. Regarding the incident where your father's head was bumped against the bars of the hospital bed, I want to assure you that such an occurrence is extremely rare within our organization. I was deeply concerned when I was informed and immediately visited the home to personally inspect the situation. Thankfully, I found no visible marks, and the family members present in the home confirmed that your father was okay. Nevertheless, I understand the distress and worry this incident may have caused, and I sincerely apologize for any pain or discomfort experienced by your father. At the end of my visit, the family members requested additional shifts with our agency, which we immediately staffed with different caregivers, and those shifts went by without any further issues. I want you to know that the well-being and safety of our clients are of utmost importance to us. As the owner of the company, I am deeply committed to providing compassionate care and ensuring a smooth process for all our clients. When things do not go as planned, I show up in person, I apologize, and I rectify the situation to the best of my ability.
