I came twice, once for a sandwich (southwest chicken), once for an acai bowl (PB bowl), both letdowns. - The southwest chicken sandwich was, as described by other reviews, a combo of store bought bread, storebought deli chicken, cheese slices, some sort of mayo, tomato, salad. You could assemble this for a couple dollars at most at home. - The acai was still frozen in my acai bowl. The blueberries did not look fresh at all (how many days did these stay in the fridge?), same for the strawberries.

Visited during a walk on pacific beach. Very cute little spot with island vibes. I ordered the protein colada smoothie which i recommend. The staff do need to be aware of their own menu. Some items have the same name on both the açaí bowl and smoothie sides of the menu. My sister ordered of of these items and wasn't asked to clarify which item she wanted (bowl or smoothie). 50/50 chance and they made the wrong order. All was well when they refunded for the mix up. I would revisit and do recommend this cute local spot.

Came in after surfing and had The Hercules breakfast Wrap The wrap was thoughtfuly presented, was made with good ingredients and tasted pretty good. My other friend had an acai bowl that looked pretty darn good too. My issue was with the woman who worked the front register who wouldn't be able to muster up a smile to save her life if she had to. I looked up the reviews to see if anyone else had commented on the customer service and it appears to be a longstanding issue. She's probably someone's sister or wife but she should not be front facing. Parking: Small lot out front shared with business occupying the same strip mall.
