Great place- both Ly and Jenny are fabulous- I've been coming here for YEARS. In the last year I've been coming every 4 weeks to see Ly to get my hair colored- I tried to color at home and realized that my hair looks SO much better when Ly takes care of it on a regular basis. Coming to the salon always feels great and I leave looking good :) Wonderful place- highly recommend. I also told my mom to come here and she now sees Jenny regularly and also loves it.

Ly is very easy to converse with. She has great customer service skills and is easy to talk to. She has great energy. I was short some change and she let me go, but she recommended lightening up my roots. I told her I wanted to get the brassy color out of my hair as much as possible. I ended up walking out of there with my hair MORE brassier than it was before I came in. I will say that a plus is tgat she tries to work with your schedule and tries to be as accommodating as possible.

I needed a hair cut so badly so I did a little research on Yelp and discovered Ly at the Concept Salon.  She was able to get me in the next afternoon.  What a delightful person!  We had so much fun and wow can she cut hair.  She really asks all the right questions and managed to deal with my cowlicks- I think I have at least 2 - sheesh,  and thinning hair. - - walked out of there looking great and feeling terrific.   I'll be back.

Ly is the BEST! She has weathered me through a pixie cut -- and the dreaded growing-out stage --   a bob, and even bangs! I'm based in NorCal, but I make it a point to visit Ly at Concept Salon whenever I'm in San Diego. I have fine, straight Asian hair that's prone to frizz, due to excess washing (because it's so oily). No matter what new style I want to try, Ly strikes the perfect balance between creating something that is faithful to my inspiration photos and giving me something that will suit my hair type and facial features. The rare times I get my hair cut somewhere else (because I can't book an appointment, or I'm out of town), it ends in disaster. In any case, Ly manages to fix it at my next appointment. In addition to being exceptional at her craft, Ly is incredibly kind. Her warm, friendly demeanor immediately puts one at ease. I feel like I'm talking to a friend whenever I'm getting my hair cut. I've waxed poetic about Ly for years; now even my mom and sister go to her for highlights and haircuts. From what I've seen on them, she is equally adept at hair coloring. To top it all off, the prices are very fair and affordable, especially for such top-notch quality. I cannot recommend Ly enough -- she really is the best!
