Naval Medical Center

i came in there last night because i was feeling very sick coughing, sneezing the whole night in a closed room where all my coworkers worked as well. my chest started to hurt and my head as well. i work night shift so this is the only place i can go to. they took me in kept me in there for an hour and a half just to tell me that i have to go to sick call in my base to get a SIQ chit, i got home at 3am and they expected me to come to my base sick call which starts at 0700 plus traffic. this is not realistically humane. i came in there because i need help and i was not fit to work yet thats exactly what they expect me to do.

If you have a life and value your time, this staff will make sure you arrive 15 minutes early and threaten to cancel your appointment if you're late, but will have no problem making you wait 30 minutes after your set appointment time. Hypocritical staff at best and some are very rude. Just go to Miramar, this place isn't worth the time or energy.

I wasn't going to leave a review but after reading a few for the ER! I changed my mind... The one that I read that the last waited 3 hours for her daughter to been seen at the ER! It depends on the emergency! If someone having a heart attack, they get emitted immediately if you have a bad cough! Of course your going to have to wait! Do you not understand how the ER works?! It sounds like your one of these special snowflakes! I have taken my mom to the ER a few times and she is an absolute nightmare to deal with! She has a lot of mental issues! The staff were MORE then helpful! I was very thankful that the staff was was very respectful and more then willing to help! Even with my mom falling and considering she 90 years old! She had to wait close to 2 hours! However, they did send a doctor out to the waiting room to see how server the injuries were...they wanted to know if they had to transfer her to a different ER.aftee two hours, she was finally admitted! The total time I spent at the ER was 6 hours! So if you expect to get in and out of an ER! GOOD luck! ER waits times are always horrible! Sometimes I would if people stop thinking?!

Let me tell you something. I have never seen a hospital that legit drags there feet to do anything. The emergency room is a bunch of people sitting doing absolutely nothing. Thats just the nurses good luck actually trying to get to a doctor. If your insurance allows you to go to a civilian please do so. Also stay away from doctor (LT Johnson) never meet such a disrespectful human being before in my life.
