We used them as the funeral home that was partnered with the Funeral home we were using in Tijuana and their customer service and everything they did to help ease the process was amazing. Losing someone makes the whole princess so painful, especially as we had to wait to get my uncles body transferred to Tijuana. My uncle passed away in Pasadena, CA, funeral home was reachable at all hours, they say 24/7 and they mean it! From the moment my uncle expired, we reached out to the funeral home as the nurses in the hospital needed the funeral home information and they were easy to communicate with. Funeraria La Paz really goes above and beyond with the whole process. They picked up my uncle from Pasadena, transferred him to San Diego, kept us in the loop of the process at all times. We knew the moment the staff left to retrieve the body from the hospital, the moment it arrived at the funeral home. From there they immediately started the process with the Mexican Consulate to get the permit required to transfer the body to Tijuana. Every call they made, any delays, everything was relayed to us. They were transparent, extremely helpful, reassured us along the way and it kept us at ease. Thank you for all you did, we will never forget how helpful and friendly the staff are.

As a Mexican family, we are used to moving quickly when a loved one dies, so much that within a day or 2 of the passing we are already doing the wake and the burial. In the US it's so different, but the staff at Funeraria La Paz was amazing and so understanding throughout the whole process of funeral services for my stepdad. They took care of everything from beginning to end, gave me daily updates on the process, were so helpful during the viewing, and made everything as painless as possible, which helped immensely in our already altered state. Gaby was phenomenal, she explained the transfer process to Mexico in full detail, gave me tips and things to remember, and every time we talked, she asked after my mom, to see how she was doing. If I could give more stars I would. I would thoroughly recommend Funeraria La Paz.Las familias mexicanas estamos acostumbrados a movernos rápidamente cuando un ser querido muere, tanto que dentro de uno o dos días del fallecimiento ya estamos velando y enterrando a la persona. En Estados Unidos es muy diferente y largo proceso. El personal de Funeraria La Paz fue increíble y muy comprensivo durante todo el proceso de los servicios funerarios de mi padrastro. Se encargaron de todo de principio a fin, me informaron diariamente sobre el proceso, fueron muy útiles durante el velorio e hicieron que todo fuera lo menos doloroso posible, lo que ayudó inmensamente en nuestro estado ya alterado. Gaby fue fenomenal, me explicó el proceso de transferencia a México con todo detalle, me dio consejos y cosas para recordar, y cada vez que hablábamos, preguntaba por mi mamá, para ver cómo estaba. Si pudiera dar más estrellas, lo haría. Recomendaría ampliamente a Funeraria La Paz.
