Action Events & Promotions

I have not been paid for work I performed last year. I sent them my passport and they said that doesn't qualify as ID. Actually it does. I mailed them copy of w9, they asked for it again. I think they purposely do this so they don't have to pay people. I have worked for 40+ promotional companies and this is the first one not to pay me. I am filing complaint with BBB. Don't work for them.

WORST. It has been 6 months and still no payment! From "oh we never received your paperwork' (Though I mailed it 4 separate times!), to "My computer was hit by a virus and I can't check your status," to "oh you never sent your paperwork" (again?!? You confirmed you received it!), to "Oh 4 separate checks got lost in the mail and NO we won't mail financial documents certified with tracking even though any respectable company would." ... STAY AWAY. Luckily my father is a lawyer and is willing to intervene free-of-cost on my end. If you're not so lucky, DO NOT work for them even once.
