    I will be forever grateful to Dr. Freeman for his skill and compassion. I went through an experience that caused me intense pain, anxiety, depression, sleep deprivation, and a degree of paranoia. Having lived my entire life as someone who felt she was resilient and having never experienced such darkness before, it was an unsettling and frightening experience. I honestly couldnt see a way out. I contacted my primary physician, who prescribed SSRI antidepressants and Xanax. I did not fill the prescription for the antidepressants, as that was not an avenue I wanted to start down. I did try using the Xanax for sleep. It didnt provide me with quality sleep, nor did following sleep hygiene guidelines, meditation apps, etc. My primary physician also offered to refer me to therapy. My health plan coverage only provided for a 15-minute intake session online, followed by two 20-minute appointments two weeks apart. I declined, as that wouldnt even begin to get to the root of the problem, much less provide a solution. I conducted an extensive online search for the best doctor to assist me in this situation and was fortunate to find Dr. Freeman. Using Google, I found and read through his reviews on this site, YELP, and several others. There was a consistent pattern of satisfied clients, so I decided to reach out to him. From our first contact, I found him to be a caring individual and an excellent listener. He was able to track and retain all of the minute details of the experience I shared that was deeply affecting me, and he referred back to those details session after session.He continuously provided valuable advice and insight. He also employed additional methods to break through the barriers I had up, including cognitive behavior therapy, EDMR, and hypnosis. He shared nutritional advice to assist with sleep. He also brought to my attention that the sleep hygiene method, which is highly touted online, was actually causing me additional stress by focusing my attention on the clock. We met via Zoom for a dozen or so sessions, and now, a little over 3 months since our first meeting, I am feeling back to my old self again, with tools in my arsenal that have made me stronger and more resilient than I was before I began this journey. I am sleeping well and once again engaged in life. I awaken each day looking forward to it, not dreading it. I no longer experience the negative internal dialogue about the event that brought me so much pain. Thank you, Dr. Freeman, for returning me to a place of peace and happiness!

    I cant speak highly enough of Dr. Charles Freeman. I began seeing Dr. Charlie this year when I decided I wanted to start a family, and realized that my sleep medications (which I had absolutely depended on for YEARS) were not allowed during pregnancy. Initially I was very skeptical if it were even possible to sleep without the help of medication (as I had previously tried and failed), but with his advice and support I was slowly able to turn off my brain naturally. Dr. Charlie has a plethora of tricks up his sleeves in order to help you sleep better and reduce your anxiety surrounding sleep. He offers a variety of tactics you can use from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), to meditation, to foods to enhance your quality of sleep. On top of being an expert in his field, Dr. Charlie is genuine and kind. I appreciated his gentle demeanor and found him pleasant to talk to. He understood what I needed in therapy, and took into account my concerns and personal limitations - it was a very tailored experience. Without hesitation, I recommend his services!

    Dr. Charles Freeman was absolutely incredible. I was dealing with multiple mental health issues, which prevented me from experiencing the beauty of life at its fullest. EMDR therapy was the solution to my problem, and he had the credentials and experience to execute it. All the 1 year worth of work I had(already) put into other types of therapy was resolved with him within 3 months. He explained and guided every step. I am a goal oriented person,so the fact that he set goals helped me a lot too. I was definitely blessed, and I couldn't ask for a better therapist!

    It took about 5 months to get me back to my normal daily large iced coffee every morning, tea in the afternoon, and fall asleep on the couch with Netflix and all the lights on, sleep routine. I was highly skeptical with his holistic approach from the very beginning because after 2 months of desperately trying everything to cure my insomnia (exercise, sleep masks, melatonin, hot showers, white noise machines, ear plugs, OTC medication, and some of the strongest prescribed sleep pills on the market) NOTHING WORKED. He worked with me every week for about 3 months straight, then progressed to biweekly sessions as I was building my sleep habits and sleep quality got better. Its really how he worked with me during every session with cognitive behavioral techniques, homework assignments, and a ton of tips and tricks Id try each week to build sleep habits that WORK. I cant thank Dr. Freeman enough for getting me back to my normal sleep schedule! Worth every dollar.
