Booking ahead is critical. But the system is still not fully automated with their own process. Some people in the appointment line had issues in finding an appointment. I never got a text confirmation for instance. So a bit of a mess tbh

This place is an absolute mess. I am a disabled veteran trying to get my registration/ DV plates squared away. The clerks that were attending to my inquiry today both wanted to mock me and my intelligence about veteran's disability or how the VA works. I provided all documents the VA personally referred you to and was still told my OFFICIAL VA documents werent proof enough for them! No ID or VA letters showing service-connected disability was good enough for them. Theres an apparent reason why record numbers of people are currently leaving California, and it's starting to make complete sense at this point.
