DecoBike San Diego

I tried to rent several bikes at the location on Marina Park Way including bikes numbered 0898, 0106, 0472, and 0519. I was unable to get a single one removed from the docking station and even though I didn't get a bike, they still billed me for the half hour. I would recommend searching out one of the other bike rental companies in the neighborhood with actual customer service!

Reasonable prices on good quality rental bikes. (unlike those cheaply produced litter bikes) Many locations-including beaches, Balboa Park, Gaslamp, Liberty Station, Little Italy, downtown, and beautiful Mission Bay areas. Well maintained, clean bikes and stations with the best customer service.

Rented a bike from these guys to go get a sandwich. Used the bike for one hour and returned it to the rack I rented it from. Somebody called me and said the bike was never returned. They ran my credit card for $700. It seems they have the power to tell anyone they want that a bike hasn’t been returned. I would be very careful renting a bike from this company. If they are struggling financially they might be forced to take it out on you.

DecoBike is really convenient to use when I need to go somewhere downtown, want to cruise around Pacific Beach or Mission Bay area, or to meet up with friends. Their membership program for long term ride sharing is very affordable and fun too. The main office is on Pacific Highway but stations are throughout the city.
