Their billing process is highly problematic. Despite spending a week discussing the issue with their billing department and being redirected to speak with the doctor, there has been no resolution to the incorrect charge. Despite making four attempts to contact the doctor over an eight-week period, I have not received any response. On my fourth call to the doctor, I was instructed by the call center to address CPT code errors with the billing department, as advised by my insurance provider. This necessitated further calls to the billing department, each lasting an hour waiting for a customer rep. It's frustrating that their mistake is causing me to invest so much time in rectifying it.

Scripps Clinic sucks after 30 years of being a patient at Scripps. They broke contract with United Health Care. Your new program sucks sad state of affairs.

Scripps needs to do much better. An appointment was made for a procedure and I wasn't informed that it was just a consultation. Communication is KEY and there is NONE by the receptionist who makes the appointments! That's the problem. All of the apologies mean NOTHING! TRAIN your people to speak, communicate, and speak accurately to patients about the nature of the appointment. Inform them it is a CONSULTATION. Your service is insulting!

I have a family member who was assualted by one of the team leads at scripps and she called to report them to the health corporation office and they did nothing and were very careless. They cancelled their investigation as well. Customer service here is terrible and no one here seems to want to do their job.

I pay and pay for good insurance yet rarely go to the doctor. Recently I had a cold and my rapid test was covid negative. I wanted a pcr test to be sure as we had large events the coming weekend. . I have great insurance. I was not able to get a timely appointment online with Scripps so I drove to the testing tent outside Scripps Green. There was no line and the tester was just hanging out. I asked if they could test me as Im in their system and am willing to pay and I also have great insurance. The tester and her supervisor denied me care and recommended I go wait in the ER/ Urgent Care for a doctor despite minor symptoms. I just wanted to make sure it was not covid positive. I was literally denied care for no reason and they lost money too then the supervisor "nurse" basically encouraged me to sit and wait in the ER infecting patients! Insanity! The tester was just sitting around. How is Scripps not broke! Even for paying patients our health care system is pathetic and dangerous. I literally had someone recommend I go to the clinic at a homeless shelter! UCSD got me in the following morning . Im thinking the CalMed patients and undocumented get better treatment. I just want equal treatment. There was no reason to deny me a test I was paying for.
