    I just spent 4 weeks waiting and hoping to get the $430 item I ordered in store, but finally had to cancel my order. At 2 1/2 weeks after ordering, I called the store and was told that there was no tracking info, but I would receive the item in about a week. At 3 1/2 weeks, I finally learned that the vendor didn’t even have the item in stock, so I could either get a different color, which would arrive about 2 weeks later, buy the store floor model (which has been heavily used) with a 10% store credit back, or cancel my order. It took 3 1/2 weeks (with me initiating contact and calling back every other day) to find out that I wouldn’t get my daughter’s gift in time. I asked for more than 10%, but was denied. To me, 10% off a heavily used item, and only getting that money as store credit is appalling. All I kept hearing from the store was blame toward the vendor, but had I purchased direct from the vendor in the first place, I would already have my daughter’s gift. Last time customer at Wonderful and Wild.

    This store is such an incredible resource for parents and caregivers. From baby registry swag to cloth diaper services, classes, tips and general community support, they are absolutely the best baby store in San Diego. Their store has an amazing variety of baby (and older kid) gear, and they have always been beyond helpful when we go in there with questions. Before our baby was born, my wife and I took one of Brianna’s baby wearing classes and walked away feeling 1000% more confident and clear on safe and enjoyable ways to wear baby. We also got our BBTai wrap from here, and it has become my favorite wrap to carry our babe in. Highly recommend!

    If I could give this store less than one star I would. It’s absolutely unbelievable how awful their customer service AND how terrible their baby registry is. 1st off.... multiple items I registered for were not in stock when my friends and family purchased them so I was told I had to pick something else out. Ok. That’s not that bad right? I purchased a very expensive Nuna car seat AND very expensive cubed stroller. I was a good customer supporting a small business. I received 2 gifts from my registery that were classes. 1 for baby sign language and a 2nd for baby lead weaning. Now that my little one is 3 months old I tried to register for the 2 classes AND low and behold... they aren’t offered any longer. I call and they tell me their store is closing. So how do I take these classes? Well the instructors I spoke to said that Wonderful and Wild pays them so I have to get reimbursed from them. I spoke to Jen and The owner Brianne who very reluctantly agreed to give me ½ the price of the classes in store credit. So long as I make it there before the store closes in April. So I’m already ticked that I don’t get to take the classes that my family purchased for me. I’m extra ticked that they only offered ½ the value. I’m at the store now... April 5th- to at least purchase something for my measly $30 credit. BUT WAIT I arrive and the guy behind the counter says my gift credit expired 3/30!! Whaaattt??? Nobody called to tell me that all the sudden I needed to use the credit before the end of April. What?? So unbelievable. Theifs! I drove from POWAY! Then I ask to speak to the manager. She refuses to talk to me on the phone. She’s only texting the employee that she will not let me use my gift credit. So basically... they just stole $60. Didn’t honor their registry. Didn’t honor their conversation with me. Thanks a lot Jen. It’s not a wonder that you guys are closing but it sure is wild your customer service.
