Our rigger suggested we use this yard so we can pull our mast and do our standing rigging. They dragged our mast into the walk way and everyone was walking over our roller furlers. When i asked them to stop walking all over my property they started cussing me. I walked up to the manager and he told me to f...off. I was banned from the yard and had my mast and rigging held hostage. It was a nightmare getting our mast back and had to pay cash for the lay days while we were banned from their property. It is the most unprofessional yard in San Diego. Use who you want, just know these are not the best people on the planet.

Multiple problems. Workers at Koehler accidentally dropped topping lift from the mast (why even do it for the bottom paint?) . When I pointed it out - they said it was like that, so I had to show them a picture. Then they broke my wind instrument while trying to put the topping lift back into the mast. I pointed out the broken instrument to the office manager (Katie) and she asked me to send her a "before" picture so she could talk to the foreman and the owner of the yard and they will make it right. Absolutely amazing place to bring your boat/sailboat to. The team and their workmanship is outstanding.
