Staff has been exceptionally friendly and have been extremely accommodating here. Especially Jenny, Joe, and Vanessa. Despite some difficulties with not having a parking spot for awhile, and some insanely loud and disruptive upstairs neighbors, my experience here has been great! While I was waiting for a parking spot someone busted up my car, so parking on the street was a frustrating experience. However, it's a decent place to live, neighbors have been mostly great, with kind staff, and average priced rent for San Diego. Great central location to a lot of necessities. Worth checking out to make your own decision for sure.

I had a 13 month lease with Prado and left as soon as we were able. From November 2022 to December 2023. We should have been let out of the lease early without financial penalties because we were harassed by our neighbor and had to get a restraining order but Prado wouldnt honor that. Here is a list of reasons you should only choose Prado if you hate yourself: -Mailboxes were broken into twice, we had to drive 5 miles to the post office to get our mail -Our neighbor hit and damaged our car and Prado wouldnt do anything to help us get their plate number, there werent any cameras either, but we did file a police report -Police were ALWAYS at the complex, I called a few times because of loud fighting at 3 am! - Upstairs neighbor constantly hammered the floor at all hours of the day and night, shouted threats and profanities at the top of his lungs and has thrown garbage on our balcony furniture, even cause nasty leaks in our bathroom from flooding his, Prado hadnt done much about it, this carried on for 11 months, I eventually had to get a restraining order against this neighbor when he broke into my apartment. Do you think management did anything about that? Or cared at all? No they did not! Hateful people. -There was dog poop everywhere! -Dogs were constantly urinating in the elevators, it was a health risk to use them but with a toddler, newborn and stroller, I had no choice -I found graffiti, alcohol and drugs in the stairwell! -There were water shut-offs at least once a week sometimes twice a week, every single week! -Sewage leaking in carports - Fire alarm use to go off so often that once when there was a fire, NO ONE took it seriously! People stayed in their homes and we had to bang on doors telling people to get out because the fire alarm went off so often it was useless -The equipment in the pools, laundry room and gym were always broken, at one point the filter for one of the pools broke and Prado didnt block off access or put up any sort of sign, I saw children swimming in green water, just nasty -Cheap paint job and sealants crack and peel within a month of being there, exposing mold underneath especially in the bathroom Could say more but these were the main reasons why Prado has been the worst living experience of my life. Its unsafe, unsanitary and there is no peace. I lived in a shelter ran by Nuns when I was a little girl and even that was better. DO NOT IGNORE THESE NEGATIVE REVIEWS unless youre currently homeless in which case Prado is better than living on the street, I guess. Any positive reviews you see are probably paid to post. Because everyone I talked with hated living there. Prado had a very high turn over rate. They also had audacity to charge additional $100 at move out for cleaning fees. But thats what the security deposit is for!

The Maintenance Workers Manny 2 and Hector are so reliable and great at what they do... Seriously they go above and beyond to please the tenants and make our stay here comfortable..Prado should be pleased with there efforts to fix everything imaginable that can break!!!And I would love to acknowledge Ms.Claudia for her super courteous attitude and amazing work ethnics that keeps the property so beautiful and smelling amazing

I also wanted to mention that I have also noticed how hard the cleaning staff has been working. Some revenants arent the best at picking up after themselves and I see how hard they work. Claudia is very friendly, works very hard, and it has been cleaner in my hallway and lobby than it ever has before. I appreciate that so much! Ive lived at Prado for 6 years now and I just want to mention the current office staff because these ladies are by far my favorite! Jenni and Vanessa are always smiling, friendly and willing to help! They are always available when needed and always promptly respond to messages and requests. They are kind, welcoming and ensure that stopping by the office for any reason is pleasurable. I also want to mention the maintenance staff, Manny, he is very reliable and even came for a call on Thanksgiving once! Always friendly and has great customer service as well. They all have a lot on their plate with it being such a large building and handle it very well! Thanks guys! You are appreciated!
