Encore Champagne Bar & Dining Room

Thought concept was great, but the night was a big disappointment. Service was terrible. We sat down at an unoccupied but dirty table. Server came over to take order, but never bothered to clear away old glasses or wipe sticky table. Champagne was warm and drinks arrived incorrect twice. Not worth the price tag.

Really cool spot downtown, nice concept with the champagne-focused cocktails. Highly recommend the weekend brunch with bottomless mimosas.

Fantastic restaurant & bar/lounge in Downtown San Diego. Yes it is a champagne bar so they have so many kinds of champagne it will knock your socks off. The champagne cocktails are pretty dang tasty as well. Have only been here for brunch for food, but it was delicious. Fresh ingredients and some interesting menu options make it definitely a place to try out. They are changing the concept up a bit now so once that's done, there will be an update to this review.

Was here for a friend's birthday. Be prepared to spend big, but it's all worth it. We reserved a table for about six people and were surprised when we were taken to a private area. It looked really cool until we noticed it was more of a storage room. We joked about it until it was no longer a joke. Employees kept interrupting us to get more glasses and made our conversations really awkward. The only reason why I didn't make a big deal about it was because I was half a champagne bottle in and continued with some champagne samplers. It might have ruined the entire evening, but I think we just made fun of the situation and of everyone who kept coming in. Everything is good. Ordered the salami and cheese plate, the steak and potatoes, and ended with a delicious vanilla Panna cotta. Unfortunately Encore will not be getting an encore from me anytime soon since no special occasions are happening right now.
