This company is fraudulent and a scam. They will continue to take advantage of people in their greatest time of need. This is the problem with our healthcare system. Instead of working with your insurance company, theyll send your bill directly to collections. Instead of being in moment with your loved ones, beware; you have to fight and understand the implications of being transported by this company. It will cost you dearly. In our case, our daughter had a seizure and my wife called 911. Naturally she was a wreck and was relying on what she thought would be decent human beings. The paramedics didnt even give her the option. They grabbed our daughter and took her to the hospital. Did they do anything on the way? No, but they sure did charge us for it. Our insurance company worked hard to negotiate a lower rate on our behalf. Did Rural Metro try to work with them? No, they wouldnt budge. Im all for paying the amazing men and women who work hard to protect us and keep us safe. Im not willing to support a company that has a monopoly on the ambulance contracts in San Diego.

ambulance took me to the hospital. 4 months later I was in collection. This company stated that they didn't have my medical id from my insurance therefore couldn't collect money and put me on collection using wakefield and associate. They said they tried to call me and mail me of my debt but i have not received any information at all until i saw a collection notice on my credit report. This company has a broken process and simply just put people on collection and hurting their credit report. terrible company.

This ambulance will stall you out! Don't wait for them to contact you they WILL send you to collections.
